2. Description of Service

CosmicKeys is an online typing education platform that provides:

  • Interactive typing lessons and exercises
  • Visual keyboard guides with finger position indicators
  • Progress tracking and performance analytics
  • Support for multiple keyboard layouts

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Billing

Free Trial: New users may be eligible for a free trial period. Trial terms and duration are specified at sign-up.

Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection).

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance.

5. Educational Disclaimer

CosmicKeys is an educational tool designed to help improve typing skills. We make no guarantees regarding specific learning outcomes, typing speed improvements, or results.

Individual results will vary based on factors including but not limited to: practice frequency, existing skill level, physical ability, dedication, and learning environment. Success in improving typing skills depends on your individual effort and circumstances.

The lessons and materials provided are intended as educational resources and should not be considered professional training certification or guarantee of employment or academic achievement.

6. Keyboard Layout Disclaimer

The keyboard layouts displayed in CosmicKeys are approximations based on standard layouts for common keyboard models (ANSI, ISO, etc.). Minor discrepancies between the displayed layout and your physical keyboard may occur due to manufacturer variations, regional keyboard differences, or custom keyboard configurations. These variations do not affect the core typing instruction provided by the Service.

7. Interactive Features & Device Compatibility

As-Is Availability: CosmicKeys provides interactive features including but not limited to keyboard animations, finger position guides, audio narration, and visual effects. These features are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

Device Variability: The performance, appearance, and availability of interactive features may vary depending on your device, browser, operating system, hardware specifications, network conditions, and other factors outside our control. By purchasing or subscribing to CosmicKeys, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the available features and accept them in their current state.

No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that all animations, audio narration, or visual effects will function identically or optimally across all devices and configurations. Users are encouraged to use the free trial or preview features before purchasing to ensure compatibility with their device.

Refund Policy: Requests for refunds based solely on interactive feature performance variations that are attributable to device conditions, browser settings, or hardware limitations may not be approved. We encourage all users to test the Service on their intended device before making a purchase.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COSMICKEYS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THIRTY (30) DAYS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zen Algorithms operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Third-Party Services & Accessibility

Geolocation Data: This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com. We use this data to provide region-appropriate pricing.

Accessibility: CosmicKeys offers multiple color vision accessibility modes and visual pattern indicators. We are continually working to improve accessibility features. For accessibility feedback, please contact us.
